• Operating temperature: 0°C to+40°C
• Storage temperature: –40°C to+60°C
1.Full-featured, long transmission range. Users can freely assign key values asrequired and pair the unit with other equipment. Works with REMOT-RA andREMOT-RB receiver modules. After the receiver module captures a key press fromthe remote, it outputs the user-defined key-value data to the target device viaRS232 or RS485.
2.Customizable receiver modules: REMOT-RA (RS232) and REMOT-RB (RS485). Bothmodules are compatible with any of our remote controllers. When a key press isreceived, the module forwards the user-defined key-value data to the connecteddevice through RS232 or RS485.
(1) Each module can handle up to 120 keys, tracking both press and release events. For every key, the press and releaseevents can be assigned a maximum of 16 bytes each. The byte count for the pressand release values of every key must be identical.
(2) Key definitions must be programmed withour dedicated Windows utility. Connect the module’s serial port to the PC’sUSB port via a USB-to-serial adapter (not included) and download the custom keyvalues from the computer.
(3) Pinout (refer to the diagram on theleft). The signal connection uses an 8-pin RJ45 connector; pins are numberedfrom left (P1) to right (P8).
• RS232 mode: P8 (+5 V),P2/4 (GND), P3 (RX), P5 (TX)
• RS485 mode: P3 (+5 V), P5(GND), P7 (A), P8 (B)
